Ruth Ann Wright Jones

Ruth Ann Wright Jones, left the earthly bonds of pain and Alzheimer's Disease to meet with her heavenly father, her husband Edward, her parents William and Eloise, her sister Laura and her brother William, on the 5th of November 2018 in Pinellas Park, Florida.

Ruth was born in Branchville, Maryland, but grew up in Warren County, Virginia, where she went to school and met her husband, Edward Donald Jones. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona and had the first three of four children. Later, they moved to Florida and purchased their first home, had their fourth child, worked and raised their family.

After retirement, Ruth and Edward spent time in Alaska, California, New Mexico and Georgia, however, Virginia was always "home" in her heart.

Ruth was an expert quilter, dress maker and worked on other sewing crafts. She also loved cooking and volunteering as she could.

She is survived by her children; Cindy, Sandy, Eddie and Robbie, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and her brothers Maurice and Robert.

Her cremains will be placed with those of her late husband, at the Veterans Administration, Bay Pines Cemetery, in St. Petersburg, Florida. In memory of her life, the family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, please make a small donation, in her name, towards Alzheimer's research, for a cure.
