Ron was a man who loved life. He had a gift for finding the good, looking for the blessing and seeing possibilities. He was known for his humor, his optimism, his wisdom and the unmistakable smile he shared so freely.
At the center of Ron's life was his beloved wife, Marya DiBari Flurnoy, his always and everything. Together they shared a beautiful life, a spiritual journey, many adventures, and countless treasured experiences.
Ron is survived by Marya and his family: Shawn (Deborah) Flurnoy; Michael Flurnoy (Noelle); Ryan Flurnoy (Zouiey) and Carter; Sondra Flurnoy Warman; Ciarra (Nathan) Whited, Jasper and Daphne; Kyle (Magan), Randee and Danielle; and Tammy Sierra Bisson (Dawn) and Mason Sierra.
Those who knew Ron will remember his presence, his laughter, his smile, and the way he made people feel. His physical presence will be deeply missed, while the love, lessons, and memories he shared continue on.
A Celebration of Life for Ron will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Central Park Performing Arts Center, Parkview Room, 105 Central Park Drive, Largo, Florida 33771.
Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Ron's life.
