Patricia Ann Simpson

July 3, 1937 – October 16, 2026
Obituary of Patricia Ann Simpson

Born on July 3, 1937, in Camden, New Jersey, Patricia grew up with a vibrant, welcoming spirit that touched everyone around her. She spent the majority of her life in Irving, Texas, where she raised her family and built strong community ties, before moving to Alba, Texas, where she loved living on the shores of Lake Fork.

Patricia was a devoted mother to her three sons and a successful business owner. As the proprietor of Pat’s Delite in Irving, Texas, she was truly the life of the party, greeting every customer who walked through the door with a warm and genuine smile. An energetic and active woman throughout her life, Patricia was an accomplished bowler, a passionate soccer player, and an avid angler who could frequently be found out fishing the waters of Lake Fork. Above all, she was guided by a profound faith in God and lived her life with remarkable selflessness, always ready to give away her last penny to help someone in need.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Terry Simpson, who cared for her with immense compassion and devotion during her final days; her three sons, Danny Fry and his wife Dee, Mike Fry and his wife Tabatha, and Robert Fry and his wife Jamie; her seven cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Amanda, Tanner, Shelby, Brody, and Levi; and her six adored great-grandchildren, Alaina, Amelia, Zayden, Scottie, Bailey, and Stevie.

Patricia was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be missed eternally, though her legacy of joy, faith, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family would like to thank her husband Terry for the care and compassion he showed Pat in her final days.
