

Patricia (Pat) Gail Rath of Clearwater, Florida passed away on Tuesday, August 4th, at the age of. Pat was born on September 1, 1941, in Levittown NY, to Daniel and Kathryn Prince where she grew up with family before moving to Florida in 1979.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Kathryn Prince, her husband Donald Rath, son Patrick Reilly, brothers George and Daniel Prince and sister, Diane Johnson.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Kelly) Oalmann, 5 granddaughters and 11 great grandchildren, sisters Ruth Ann Haven, Debbie Crawford, and Nancy Brady. Pat is also survived by generations of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pat graduated from Sachem High School in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY in 1960. Pat worked at the Bavarian Inn in Lake Ronkonkoma for many years until she remarried in the early 1970’s to Don, the love of her life. Pat became a stay-at-home mom working to blend a family. Pat was active with St. Mary’s Episcopal church in Lake Ronkonkoma and helped to establish their thrift store. Pat was also a Girls Scout Troop leader and Basketball coach for SYAG youth sports.
After moving to Florida, Pat and Don became active in the U.S Coast Guard Auxiliary and Coquina Key Cruising club.
Pat went back to work in the mid 1980’s, stepping into the world of Association Management. Pat retired from Resource Property Management after almost 20 years of service, leaving a legacy of 3 more generations working for Resource Property Management.
The family would like to thank Morton Plant Hospital and Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one Pat in her final days and especially her cousin Renee Bulla who has been her caretaker for the last few years. We are forever grateful.
Family and friends are invited to attend an open Celebration of Life for Pat on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the Country Park Clubhouse, located at 2331 Belleair Rd, Clearwater, FL 33764 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Parking is limited.
