Patricia Jean Croy

Born in Canton, Pennsylvania, on June 8, 1937, Pat moved to Michigan with her family as a young child. A proud graduate of the Roosevelt High School Class of 1955, she spent much of her life in Michigan raising her family before eventually moving to Florida to enjoy her later years closer to her sons.

Pat found beauty in life’s simple pleasures. She was often found with a crochet hook in hand, lost in the pages of a good book, or meticulously working on a jigsaw puzzle. While these hobbies brought her peace, her greatest joy was undoubtedly her family. She was the heart of her home, and her legacy of love will live on through the many generations she leaves behind.

Pat is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Charles P. Croy; her parents, Norman and Sara Leighton; her brothers, Bob (Joyce) and Vernon (Elva); her sister, Janice (Elmer); and her grandsons, Robert IV and John.

Her memory will be cherished by her children; Robert III (Jill), Michael (Chrissy), Cheryl, and John (Carol); grandchildren, Claire, Daniel (Autum), Ali Jean (Darryck), Niccole (Luke), Olivia, Jennifer, Michael, Chris (Eric), and Holly; great-grandmother to EmilyAnne, Jacob, Ryker, Raelynn, Allia, Elias, and Logan.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pat’s life during a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at St. Mark Lutheran Church | 1120 Curlew Rd, Dunedin, FL. Visitation: 1:30 PM followed by a service at 2:30 PM.

Pat will be returned to her Michigan roots for interment at Udell Cemetery in Ypsilanti. A graveside service will be held in the spring or summer of 2026, with a date to be announced.
