Nancy Paulette Charlton passed away on March 20th after a year long battle with cancer. She was vibrant, loved to laugh, dance, eat great food and spread good cheer. A determined woman who marched to her own beat. She made friends easily and often kept them for life.
Nancy was born in Halifax, raised in Chicoutimi, and graduated in nursing at St. Mary’s in Montreal. She excelled as an emergency and operating room nurse and developed procedures and policies to reduce infection and errors during operations.
Nancy was active in life. She quilted, sewed, painted, and enjoyed traveling, tennis, cycling and golf. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with and walking her dog, Quinn.
Nancy is survived by daughters, Tania and Melissa, her husband, Jim, and her five younger siblings, Daniel, Marc, Richard, Paul and Elizabeth.
She will be missed by all. May she rest peacefully.
Services are being held at 10am Friday, April 26, 2024 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1955 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater, Florida 33764.
