Mary O. Kennedy

Born on January 7, 1942, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Mary grew up in Conshohocken and graduated from St. Matthew’s High School with the class of 1959. She began her professional journey as a compassionate registered nurse before transitioning into executive business leadership within the health insurance industry, holding prominent positions with the Franklin Mint and Blue Cross Blue Shield in the greater Philadelphia area. In her later years, she remained a vibrant and cherished presence in her community at Magnolia Manor in St. Petersburg.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Kennedy, and her brother, Francis O’Donnell. She is lovingly survived by her sister, Sister Patricia O’Donnell; her cousin, Helen McLaughlin; and Helen’s children, Susan and Joseph.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the Merrick family, as well as to her devoted friends and the community at Magnolia Manor, for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Mary during her final days.
