Kimberly Lynn Knowlton was born on June 2nd 1965 in Greenville, South Carolina. The oldest of 4 sisters Darby, Kerry, and Libby. She was then raised in St. Petersburg Florida by her parents David and Susan Knowlton. Kim attended Canterbury School, and graduated high school at St. Petersburg High School in 1983. She then met her husband Blake Kennedy in 1985 and decided to move to Tallahassee, FL with him and attend FSU. She graduated with her bachelors in sociology in 1993. During that time, in 1990, is when Kim and Blake got married at St. Thomas church in St. Pete. She then had her 4 kids Peyton, Blair, Cole, and Hope. She then became a stay at home mom for the past 27 years.
On September 18th 2023 Kim passed away peacefully in her St. Petersburg home surrounded by her husband Blake and kids at the age of 58, after her battle with cancer. She is now reunited with her son Peyton in heaven.
Funeral Services will be Thursday September 28th at 11:00am with a reception in the Fellowship Hall at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. 1200 Snell Isle Blvd. NE, St. Petersburg, Fl 33704. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pet Pal Animal Shelter.
