For 40 years working as a psychotherapist, Kathi helped literally thousands of clients in Chicago, Indiana, Maryland, and the Tampa Bay region. She was especially fond of seeing women change so magnificently in therapy. For nearly a decade, she touched many lives as an expert on Tampa Bay morning television stations. She also provided support for the Diocese of St Petersburg and St. Mary’s Annapolis.
Kathi was an accomplished and inspiring author, lecturer, and teacher. She was able to make everyone laugh, something her daughter and son have continued in their own lives.
Wherever she went she loved to have fun, and was the life of the party. Her passionate and loving spirit shines an unending light upon the world.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine Boris, her son Joseph Brinales, her husband Hendricks Brown, son in law Jim Boris, brother Joseph and sisters Patty, Carol, Mary, and Nancy, nieces Kylyn, Katie, and Meagan, and nephews Alec and Doug.
Any donations can be sent in her name to St Jude.
