

Born in Kokomo, Indiana, Joyce built a full and vibrant life. After marrying her beloved husband, Arnold K. Dittmar, in 1954 and living in Indianapolis, the family made the move to sunny Florida in 1963. A woman of many talents, Joyce balanced being a dedicated homemaker and caregiver with an impressive professional life. She earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science and later forged a successful career as a Real Estate agent and broker. Warm and community-minded, she was also a proud 10-year member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a devoted member of the Anona United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arnold K. Dittmar; her cherished daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” and Diane; parents, William and Grace Prescott; and her dear friend, Bill Mills.
Joyce's memory and legacy live on through her son, David (Maria) Dittmar of Winchester, Tennessee; and her adored grandsons, Steven and Andrew Barnes of Largo, Florida and Wesley Dittmar of Winchester, Tennessee.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 21, at 10:00 AM in the Little Chapel at Anona United Methodist Church, 13233 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo.
