It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey S. Paul, 63, of Clearwater, FL. He passed away unexpectedly on October 19th, 2024, in St. Augustine while attending the Sunshine District Barbershop Convention.
Jeffrey was born on July 9th, 1961, to Joseph and JoAnn Paul in Zanesville, OH. He dedicated 27 years to healthcare in physical therapy at BayCare, where he was known for his expertise, compassion, humor, and kindness.
Jeff met April while performing in community theater and together they built a beautiful life, raising their two daughters, Sarah and Carlee. He had a soul full of music and creativity. His passion for singing led him to join church choirs and for the last 20 years, barbershop choruses, and quartets.
Known for his lighthearted and joyful presence, Jeff had a unique charm and playful spirit that effortlessly brought smiles to those around him, often accompanied by his lengthy, corny jokes.
He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan –"O H!”. Above all, he cherished his wife and children with profound unconditional love, embodying the essence of a devoted husband and father. His kindness extended far beyond his family, always offering a helping hand, making friends with strangers, and spreading happiness wherever he went. Jeff's legacy is a heartfelt reminder of the magic he brought to everyone around him—a legacy filled with love, laughter, and selflessness.
Jeff is survived by his wife, April; his daughters, Sarah and Carlee; son-in-law Phuong Le; sister, Jennifer Bushong (Kirby); and many beloved relatives, friends and fellow Barbershoppers.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 3pm to 5pm at Earthscapes Garden Room in Palm Harbor, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Florida Suncoast Chorus, a group close to his heart, or the Barbershop Harmony Foundation or a charity of your choice.
“And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.”
