James H. Hanna

James Hanna passed away peacefully after bravely battling cancer on December 19, 2025 at Suncoast Hospice, Clearwater, Florida. He was born at the Fort Belvoir, Virginia hospital on 3/15/1959 and grew up in Falls Church, Virginia the youngest of 4 in his of family.

James spent the final 25 years of his life living in Largo, Florida. He was employed for over 25 years by Service - Tech Corporation of Clearwater, Florida. James grew up with a passion for cars and started at an early age taking on the challenge of finding unique ways to repair hard to reach problem areas.

James is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his parents, Jack and Delores Hanna, and his older brother Robert(Bob) Hanna, Nephew Michael Hanna and Nephew David Hanna.

He is survived by his loving Sister Janet Fogg, Stillwater, MN; his loving sister Doris Hanna, Vinton,,VA, his loving Sister-in-Law, Carol Hanna, Warrenton, VA; his Nephew Kevin Toomey, St Louis Park, MN; Niece Jennifer Madsen, Robbinsdale, MN. And his Grand Nephews Jordan Hanna, Charles (Chas) Madsen, Kaan Hanna, Lewis Hanna and Hollen Hanna. And his Grand Nieces Alara Hanna and Solveig Madsen.

The family will be forever grateful for the friendship and love and guidance James received from Paul and Betty Keller of Clearwater, Florida, for the past 25 years.

The family will gather privately in Virginia to celebrate James’ life at a later date.
