

Jacqueline M MCAULIFFE, age 95, of Largo, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Jacqueline was born in Boston 1926. She attended Vesper George Art School in Boston and Berlitz Language School in Geneva.
Jackie met future husband Daniel while working at the Christian Science Monitor in Boston.
When Dan took foreign correspondent jobs in Switzerland, Jackie took a boat over to meet him where they were then married in a little 16th century chapel on the shores of Lake Geneva. After a few years they returned to the US for 8 years and settled down as teachers and administrators at Forman School, a prep school in Litchfield, CT. where she taught art and French, and welcomed their son Steve into the world.
Geneva called again and the three of them were were off on a 2 year adventure before returning to Forman School. The family moved to Belleair Beach, FL in 1966 where Dan was headmaster of Cottingham School on Indian Rocks Beach and Jackie taught art.
After 2 years and hurricane Camille, Dan took a job with the Pinellas County School System and Jackie became a customer representative at First National Bank of Belleair Bluffs until retirement.
Survivors include Steve McAuliffe and his wife Becky of St Petersburg, FL
