Butch, a skilled mold maker, entrepreneur and business owner, leaves behind a legacy built on hard work, determination and unwavering family devotion.
His story began in a humble setting—his own garage—with little more than his tools, his expertise, and a belief in what he could accomplish. Through countless hours of hard work, a dedication to quality craftsmanship, and a willingness to take on challenges others might have avoided, he transformed that small beginning into a thriving business with a global reach.
What started as a one-man operation grew into a successful company, earning the respect and trust of countless customers and colleagues. His success was the result of persistence, ingenuity, and a deep understanding of his trade. He believed that a reputation was earned through the quality of one's work, the strength of one's word, and the relationships built along the way.
His accomplishments extended far beyond the business he built. He created opportunities for others, established a standard of excellence, and demonstrated what could be achieved through determination, skill, and the courage to pursue a dream. His journey from a garage workshop to the global marketplace stands as a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit and the lasting impact one person can make.
Above all, family was at the heart of his life. He shared a special bond with his son, Billy, and took great pride in his grandsons, Hayden and Rylan. Some of his happiest moments were spent together as a family, making memories through the things he loved most. Whether at the racetrack enjoying the excitement of racing or out on the water with a fishing rod in hand, these shared passions brought them closer and created memories that will be treasured for years to come.
Butch is preceded in death by his parents, Earl J. Mowery and Gracie Monbarren, his sister Gail Franz and his nephew Rick Bonsey.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Mowery; his son, Billy Mowery and daughter-in-law, Felicia; his beloved grandsons, Hayden and Rylan Mowery; and nieces and nephews, who will remember him fondly.
The family would like to thank Sylvester James, his caregiver, for the care and compassion he showed Butch every day.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at 4945 E Bay Drive, Clearwater, FL on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 10am. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:30am.
