Diane Elizabeth Roble

Diane was born on June 2, 1956, in Astoria, Queens, New York City, to Louis and Florence Pascuzzi. At the age of four, her family moved to Massapequa, New York, on Long Island, where she was raised. She graduated from high school in 1974 and later earned an Associate Degree in Labor Relations from Nassau Community College.

Diane was deeply proud of her Italian and Catholic heritage, values that remained central throughout her life. She was actively involved in civic affairs from an early age, participating in both the Nassau County Republican Party and the Young Republicans. After moving to Florida, she continued her dedication to public service as an active member of her local Republican Party.

A devoted sports enthusiast, Diane was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Mets. She also had a great love for Broadway musicals, Disney, classic movies, and travel programs on YouTube, which brought her many hours of enjoyment.

Diane worked for many years with a major gas company on Long Island before relocating to the Tampa Bay area of Florida. In Florida, she continued her professional career with Transamerica Insurance Company, where she worked for many years until her retirement in 2017.

On November 27, 2004, Diane married the love of her life, Gerard Joseph Roble, at St. Martin of Tours Church in Amityville, New York. Together they built a loving life in the Tampa Bay area. From 2020 until her passing, Diane and Gerard made their home at Oak Manor Senior Living Community in Largo, Florida.

Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Gerard Joseph Roble; her brother, Louis Pascuzzi; and her beloved cousins and many cherished family members and friends. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love of family, her spirited devotion to her beliefs, and the warmth and kindness she shared with those who knew her.

A Catholic Mass will be held on August 14, 10:00 AM, Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Clearwater, FL.

The family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Diane's memory to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Charities.
