Shank, Cloyd A. Jr. Born June 3, 1948 in Danville, IL. Passed away peacefully in his home in Dunedin on Sept. 27, 2016. Son of Jean and Cloyd Shank Sr. Graduate of Danville High School and Illinois State University. Rhythm guitarist and vocalist for The Shades of Blue. Retired from the City of Dunedin in 2015 after 20 years as Foreman for the Division of Wastewater Collection. Cloyd lived life to the fullest. He mastered the art of being a jack-of-all-trades thanks to his late father. An avid motorcyclist, he was always game for a ride. He also enjoyed golf, parties by the pool, jam sessions on the guitar, and any event that included his family and friends. Cloyd is survived by his wife/high school sweetheart Debbie Nicoletta Shank, his son Jamie Shank, his daughter Carrie Shank, his 2 granddaughters Brooke and Aubriana, and his 5 dogs: Bailey, Zoe, Bugsy, Abby, and Emme.
