

He was the beloved husband of 35 years to Barbara Ann Pfahl, who preceded him in death in 2013. Following Barbara's passing, he found love again and was the devoted fiancé of 11 years to Lucy Alexander.
He was a loving father to Charles Scott Pfahl (Patty) and Cheryl Lohbeck (Robert) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a stepfather to Kurt, Mark, and Joseph Kalina. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren—Michael, Christy, Rick, Amanda, Kelly, Kurt, Kristen, Mark, Matt, and Angela—as well as his great-grandchildren: Jack, William, Ava, Eli, Madison, Naomi, Bennett, Adeline, and Maddox.
Chuck proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a communications specialist in Panama during the Korean Cold War era. There, he specialized in deciphering cryptic codes. Following his military service, he dedicated 20 years to protecting his community as a police officer and co-owned Exterior Services of Ohio, a concrete restoration firm, alongside his late wife, Barbara, for 25 years before retiring to Florida.
