Obituary of Charles Richard O'Brien
Charles Richard O’Brien PhD died on October 12, 2026 at Morton Plant Hospital.

He was born in Boston Massachusetts and moved to Florida in 1993. He lived in Largo and moved to Belleair in 2003. He was a retired university professor and administrator with a doctorate in counseling 1972 from the University of Wyoming as well as a retired ordained

Catholic priest.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Sr, his mother Dorothy DeBesse O’Brien Johnson and stepfather Gerald Johnson.

He is survived by several cousins and many valued friends.

Services will be private.
