General on July 26, 2021 at the age of 49. Chad is survived by his father, Joe McChesney,
stepmother Connie McChesney, brother Joe (Amanda) McChesney, sister Melissa McChesney,
many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother, Jane
Woodman.
Chad was born i n Sarasota FL August 29,1971. He graduated from Lexington High School, SC
in 1989, joined the Coast Guard and was stationed in Alaska. Upon returning he joined a real
estate firm in Tampa then moved to Madiera Beach where he loved the beach and worked as a
commercial fisherman. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date where his ashes will be scattered off the
coast near where he lived.
