Carol was a person that was full of life. She had a lively energetic spirit. She loved listening to music and dancing. If there was music, you would see her dancing across the floor with a big smile on her face.
She cherished her friends. She always looked forward to hosting her annual Christmas Eve party where she knew the people she cared about the most would all be together to celebrate the holiday.
We will miss her sense of humor and her quick wit, however sometimes sarcastic. She loved to hear people tell jokes and would occasionally say “Tell me a joke”. She enjoyed watching movies and for some strange reason, she loved horror movies. Her favorite horror character was “Chucky”. We believe she just got a kick out of watching people’s reaction when she showed them her Chucky doll. That was Carol! She was quite a character, and we will miss that about her.
She was very proud of her Italian heritage and everyone that knew her well would know that her favorite word was “Fuhgeddaboudit”
She loved and adored her children and her sister Elsie. Carol was the “Mother Hen” who would always check in on everyone to make sure they were okay. She would always look forward to chatting with her sister on the phone.
As Carol progressed in years, you would never hear her admit that she was a senior citizen. Because in her eyes and ours, she had a young heart.
Carol is predeceased by her husband Albert Duran and former husband Jan Lang. She is survived by her sister Elsie; her three children Leona (Dee), Stephen and Carolyn; her granddaughter Stevie and grandson Jesse.
Carol will be dearly missed by all who loved her, and we will cherish all the wonderful memories she left us. She will be forever in our hearts.
The family of Isabell “Carol” Duran.
