It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Beth Lowery Brock of Clearwater Florida. Beth was a fighter - strong and tough and feisty - but unfortunately, she wasn’t strong enough to beat COVID.

Beth grew up in Dover, NJ, and attended high school there before graduating from Clearwater High. Beth is survived by a long list of loving family members who will miss her dearly: her husband Mark Brock, her son and daughter-in-law Jason and Robin Brock, and her two grandchildren Branden and Jason Raymond. Beth was a beloved daughter to Raymond and Marie Lowery, and was a special sister to Michael Lowery, Timothy Lowery, Ann Tarrant, Patricia Lowery, Kathleen Johnson, Mary Deeley, and all the respective spouses and families. Beth was a super-special aunt to six nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and nephews.

Also surviving Beth are a multitude of friends, including teachers and students she met during her 30 years working for the Pinellas County school system. Her last position before retiring in 2019 was school disciplinarian at Largo High School. “Ms. Brock” loved working with her students and always kept an eye out for anyone in need of encouraging words, a smile or a hug, and has kept in touch with many of them over the years. She was so caring and compassionate with everyone she knew. The moment of silence that was held for Beth at Largo High School when they heard of her passing filled our broken hearts with pride to know that she was loved and respected by so many.

Beth loved working on home projects and filled her yard with beautiful plants, making it the cutest house in the neighborhood by far. As an avid Bucs fan, she proudly hung her Bucs flag on her house every game day morning. She became a fan after her Dad started taking the family to games back in the seventies and stuck by the team through their worst years. She celebrated their two Super Bowl championships with sheer joy and was looking forward with great anticipation to another winning season ahead. In addition to watching sports, Beth also loved watching Lifetime movies and her Bravo shows including the Housewives series, Project Runway and Top Chef. But Beth was certainly not a couch potato. She did an amazing job staying fit and was regularly spotted bicycling around town every morning, rain or shine. On top of all this, she worked tirelessly with her sister Kathy to take care of their Mom after moving Mom out of Assisted Living due to the rampant spread of COVID.

More than anything, her youngest grandson JR was the light of Beth’s life. Nothing made her happier than seeing JR and hearing about his latest adventures. They talked on the phone constantly and had a very special bond.

We lost a beautiful woman - wife, mother and mother-in-law, daughter and daughter-in-law, sister and sister-in-law, aunt, grandmother and friend all rolled into one. Our hearts are truly shattered. We love you, Beth.
