Beryl "Bebe" Loscher

Born on May 27, 1936, in London, England, to Samuel and Rachel Lipman, Bebe grew up during the Second World War, experiencing first hand an extraordinary period in history. Upon leaving school, she entered the British fashion industry, affectionately known as the “rag trade,” and began what would become a lifelong career as a talented seamstress.

One of the highlights of her career was her work as a seamstress for the prestigious Royal Ballet in London, where her skill and craftsmanship contributed to the world of ballet and theatrical costume. Sewing remained an important part of her life and a reflection of her remarkable talent and creativity.

In the mid-1980s, Bebe embarked on a new chapter, moving to Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain, where she made her home for approximately 20 years. In 2006, she moved to Dunedin, Florida, where she spent the next 20 years of her life.

Bebe was married to Henry Loscher for nearly 30 years. She was the loving and devoted mother of two sons, Bradley Dean Loscher and Maury Randall Loscher, and a proud grandmother to three grandchildren, Sarah, Sam, and Hugh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Loscher, who passed away in 2018, and her brother, Irvin.

Above all, Bebe was a loving mother who adored her two boys. She had a special warmth about her that drew people to her wherever she went. Whether in London, Tenerife, or Dunedin, she had a wonderful ability to make friends and leave a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

Popular and loved by everyone who met her, Bebe was truly a sweetheart. Her kindness, warmth, and loving nature will be remembered by all whose lives she touched.

She leaves behind a lifetime of wonderful memories, a family who loved her dearly, and friendships that spanned countries and generations. Bebe will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial service and celebration of Bebe's life on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at the clubhouse at Union Park Villas in Dunedin, Florida.
