

Arthur Williams, Jr. 91 of Ellenton, FL passed away November 6, 2025. He was born on July 7, 1934, in Weymouth, MA. Arthur was a proud Veteran. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Sarasota Memorial Hospital and pursued his love of cruising and traveling. He visited six continents and dozens of countries. He raised his family in Marshfield, MA and relocated to FL in 1981. Arthur was very dedicated to family. He was raised in a large family, the oldest of twelve children.
Arthur is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Connie. His five children, Mark (Melissa) of Eaton Rapids, MI; Marsha Woerner of Bradenton; Marilyn Ohlund of Ellenton; Marlene Reedy of Palmetto; and Monique Williams-Duenas (David) of Mangilao, Guam; brothers, Donald of E. Bridgewater, MA; Richard (Dorothy) of Zephyrhills, FL; Gerald (Donna) of Whitman, MA; Ted of Sparks, NV; and his sisters Ruth Woodbury of Rockland, MA; Ellen Montague (David) of Mount Dora, FL; and Jean Franciosi of Halifax, MA; sister in-law, Cynthia Musso, her family, and several nieces and nephews. 13 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren also survive him.
He is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Ellen (Driscoll) Williams and siblings Gloria Fent, Robert, Jay and Carol Williams, son-in-law John Woerner and brother-in-law, William Musso.
Art had a wonderful sense of adventure and humor. He had a mechanical talent and enjoyed helping neighbors with repairs. He will be remembered with love and admiration by his large family and many friends.
Arthur will be interned at Sarasota National Cemetery, FL. Art was a Disabled Veteran.
In lieu of flowers his family wishes donations in his memory be sent to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
