Rachel Louise Darnell

Mrs. Darnell, formerly of Charlotte, Gastonia, Cherryville and Lincolnton, N.C., was predeceased by two sons, James P. Boyd, Jr. (Jimmy) and Michael Eugene Boyd (Mike) as well as six brothers and two sisters. Surviving are one daughter, Brenda, 4 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 11 nieces and nephews.

The immediate family will have a private service, with a memorial service being planned for a later date.
