William Joseph Raymond

William J. Raymond, 74, of Erie, went to his forever home on May 5, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. Oldest child of William G. and Paula Raymond, he was born July 10, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio. He married his beloved wife, Janice Bonnell, July 18th 1970 in St. Joseph Church, Erie. Bill retired from Ford Motor Company, Monroe plant. He was a member of Bedford Alliance Church, honorary fireman of the Luna Pier Fire Dept., and UAW Local 723. He had enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, spending time up north, camping, boating, fishing, hunting and his involvement with Erie Mason Little League and was thrilled when they won the Monroe county fair tournament and the boys won their bet to shave his head. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Janice, son's William (Billy) J. Jr., and his wife Dana; James (Jim); Ryan (Shannon). Grandchildren: Dillion, Jacob, Autumn, Mikayla, Madison, and Izzy. Great grandchildren: Brinley, Hazel, and Oakley. Sister Bindy (Danny Ex), brothers: Steve, Brad (Donna), and Scott. Daughter in law Alahna.There will be no services per his request. National Cremation Society caring for remains.
