

Born on December 26, 1950 in Detroit, MI, William lived a life defined by hard work, dedication to family, and a love for the simple pleasures in life. As the owner and operator of his own trucking company, he built a reputation for honesty, determination, and a strong work ethic that earned the respect of those who knew him.
When he wasn’t working, William could often be found on the boat, enjoying the water. He found joy in spending time with family and creating lasting memories with those closest to him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Mary Blumenstiel, who passed away four years ago.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kelly (Chad) Schumacher, and his son, Matthew Blumenstiel; his five cherished grandchildren, Jake, Dylan, Brooklyn, Sophia and Sadie; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
William will be remembered for his strength, kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he passed on to future generations.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
