On Thursday October 1, 2026, God called home one of his best, beautiful, loving blessed Angels, Walter Ryans. He was a WONDERFUL Husband, Father and Grandfather, and the epitome of what a GREAT MAN should be. He was beautiful inside and out, he charmed everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He was full of spunk and had spicy wit, but most of all he was a wonderful and extraordinary person.
He was born in the quaint small of Tylertown, Mississippi on December 12, 1945 to a Loving Mother Luella Ryans and hard-working Father A.J. Ryans. He grew up on his Dads farm along with his 5 loving sisters. He always told happy stories about our family and loved history and Law. But most of all he loved his entire family.
One lovely summer day in 1970 in Pontiac, Michigan, Walter met his beautiful loving wife Mary and they instantly fell madly in love, and were totally inseparable, and they were married over 53 years. Their love story is one to be envied and admired, as they were in love all the way until the lord called him home. They share four beautiful children together and a beautiful special granddaughter, which he spoiled every chance he got. Walter absolutely LOVED all of his children and grandchildren, he was as proud of them as any magnificent Father/Grandfather would be. They never wanted for anything, he was a fierce protector, Great Provider and an all-around Hero to his girls.
He also had a love of fast cars and racing, he often bragged about his most prized car. He moved North in the 1960s by accident, where he happened upon on a job at General Motors. This job was meant to be, as he continued to work there for over 45 years, and NEVER missed a day of work (truly spectacular).
He had a TON of friends and all of his coworkers loved him, as he could get along with anyone, he had a smile that would melt your heart, but he would also cuss like a sailor. He was a proud Man and always spoke his mind and didn’t hold anything back.
Walter was a Phenomenal and VERY Special person. We are so PROUD that he was in all of our lives and made every day great for those that he loved. He will be missed tremendously, as there are no words that can define such a great loss, but I do know that God his blessed him with us and us with him. We know that he is with God now and that gives us peace.
Walter is survived by his loving and beautiful wife Mary Ryans, his loving and beautiful daughters, Lisa Bostic, Kimberley Ryans and Yahvi Ryans and his beloved and very special granddaughter AvEuntae Bostic. He was predeceased in death by his oldest Daughter Angelia Bostic, his Parents and his oldest sister.
He had a whole bunch of friends and family that loved him, but there are just too many to name, which shows how wonderful of a man Walter really was.
Our sweet Father can now rest in love and in beautiful heaven and in Gods mighty and powerful arms, as he really deserves the peace he has now, his work here has been completed in a truly loving and spectacular way and one day we will see you again, God Willing. WE WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER AND EVER AMEN.
No Services will be held, as this was his final wish, as he knew he was loved by everyone who knew him, and they already told him how special he was in life and that is all that he needed.
