

Wally is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Angelika; his children, Wallace Jr. (Blanca) Kenmuir, Erika (Allen) Holmes, Lisa (Scott) Born and Andrea (Jay) Johnson and grandchildren Tripp Kenmuir, Miranda Holmes, Zachary Holmes, Kaitlin Johnson and Xander Johnson along with his half-brother Jack (Nancy) Kenmuir and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Olga Kenmuir, William Kopec and stepfather John Kenmuir.
He graduated from Hazel Park High School in 1959 where he played football, hockey and baseball. He spent his working career in the fastener industry retiring as a Quality Assurance Manager in 2007.
Wally was a kind, funny, thoughtful person who loved to joke with everyone and would talk to anyone. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was hard working and was able to make everyone feel at ease. Wally was a sports enthusiast with his hometown teams. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, bowling and golfing. He will be deeply missed by all of those who loved him.
There will be a celebration of life on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church 29860 Dequindre Rd, Warren, MI 48092 at 10:00am for visitation with a memorial service beginning at 11:00am. Luncheon to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amazing Grace Lutheran Church memorial fund.
