Tonya Louise Lezell

Tonya was born on December 22, 1981, and spent her life loving deeply and caring for others with her whole heart. She was a fiery, compassionate person who never hesitated to help anyone in need — whether it was a family member, friend, stranger, or an animal needing rescued. Her kindness and caring spirit touched countless lives and will never be forgotten.

Above all else, Tonya loved her two sons, Ian and Camden, more than anything in the world. Being their mother was the greatest joy of her life, and the bond they shared was truly special.

Tonya is survived by her loving husband, Colten Morrell; her parents, Diana Rooks and Michael Rooks; her sisters, Jacqueline Rooks (Joshua Parker) and Emily Rooks; her brother, Michael Rooks II; her beloved sons, Ian Brignall and Camden Lezell; her nieces, Sydney and Morgan Parker; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.

Though her passing leaves an unimaginable emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, Tonya’s memory will continue to live on through the love, compassion, and strength she gave to others throughout her life.

A celebration of life for Tonya will be announced at a later date.
