Rick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest joy was his family. Above all, he cherished his wife, Kim Wallace, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Their bond was one of true partnership, and Rick’s love for Kim was unwavering until his final day.
He is survived by Kim and their children, Lisa and Craig Coggins, Ken and Shirley Wallace, Tiffany and Steve Szecsodi, and Eldon Yuille; his grandchildren, Racheal and Jake Eargood, Christopher and Susan Wallace, Richard and Ashlee Wallace, Colton and Rachel Coggins, Briana and Chris Upshaw, Nevaeh Szecsodi, and Ariel Wallace; as well as many cherished great-grandchildren who brought him endless pride and happiness.
Rick is also survived by his siblings, Jeanne and Mike Mikula, Karen and Mike McDonald, and his brother Larry Busha; along with his dear sister-in-law, Janet Wallace, and Larry’s girlfriend, Ruth Jump, who will all cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Wallace; mother, Eloise Busha; brothers, Denny and John Wallace; and his beloved son, John Wallace. The loss of John was one of Rick’s greatest heartbreaks, and he carried his son’s memory close to his heart every day.
After a long and dedicated career, Rick retired from General Motors. Outside of work, he found joy in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. His ultimate passion, however, was music. For many years, Rick shared his gift as a saxophone player and singer with the Baker Street Band, where his love for music touched countless lives.
Rick will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and the deep love he poured into every role he held—as a husband, father, papa, brother, and friend. His love for Kim and his family will remain his greatest legacy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
