

He was the youngest male of 15 children.
A 1976 graduate of Dansville High School, he was well known for his victory as State heavy-weight Wrestling Champion. After graduation, he wrestled for LCC, traveling to California and several other states.
Reed married Liz Larson at Rowley Wesleyan Church on October 1, 1983, in Williamston, MI. Together, they enjoyed a wonderful life and family. They had three children; Margaret, Seth and Lillyan.
Reed's professional life included welding, truck driving, and asphalt paving. His work history was exemplary, working for Moore's Farm Repair, Garry's Asphalt, GL DePue Asphalt, One Way Paving, Rieth Riley, and H&H Welding for many years.
He loved many things in life, including lawn care ('lawn ranger' liked a neat yard!) on his John Deere/weed wacker, hunting, westerns, Family Feud, Jeopardy, Big-Time wrestling, WWE, WCW, playing his guitar, and spending time with family and friends. His faithful dogs - Mayday, Thor, and Charlie, brought him much joy! Salmon cakes, fried eggplant, fried green tomatoes, strawberry ice cream, and coconut cream pie were a few of his favorite foods.
Reed is survived by his wife, Liz, daughters Margaret and Lillyan, and granddaughters; Carmen, Alex and Sunny. *Sisters- Dani in Kansas, Cleta in Alaska, and Catherine, Rosa, and Tarrie in Michigan. His best friend- David Bach, multiple nieces and nephews, plus faithful friends; Juan, Bruce, Tom, Joe, Glen, Bob, and Ruth Komar of Hastings, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie & Dellie Davis, his son, Seth Davis; and siblings Cal, Helton, Fred, Gene, Ernie Jr., Earl, Maureen, Mary, and Wanda. *Special friends- George and Shirlene Harris ('God will provide'), and Clifford Sloan.
The family wishes to thank all of the medical specialists/nursing staff, especially Dr. John Nicklas, at U of M - Ann Arbor for your expert care over the last few years.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled at Webberville United Methodist Church, 4215 Holt Rd, Webberville on Friday, July 24th at 12 noon. Luncheon will follow.
