Ms. Peggy L. Collins, 83, of Muskegon, passed away on Saturday September 5, 2026. Peggy was born on November 7, 1942 to Richard and Catherine West. She is survived by 2 Sisters, 4 Brothers, 4 Daughters (Janice, Susan, Sheryl and Lori), 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and leaves behind a lifetime of love, memories, and special moments shared with those who knew her.
Peggy’s greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends and treasured the time they shared together. She had a special way of making everyone feel loved, and she gave the best hugs—the kind that made you feel safe, comforted, and truly loved. Her love and devotion to her family will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
Peggy was a woman of faith who found comfort and joy in attending church. She also loved the simple pleasures in life—getting lost in a good book, quilting, sewing or knitting, watching Murder, She Wrote and television game shows, and could always be found with a dachshund on her lap.
Those who knew Peggy will remember her for her love of family, her faith, her warm heart, and the many little things that made her uniquely herself. She leaves behind countless cherished memories that will be carried on by the family and friends who loved her dearly.
Her love may no longer be seen, but it will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
A private gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date. Please call Sue at (315) 882-1056 for further details.
