Oscar Lee Higdon

Oscar Higdon Sr. , 77, of Auburn Hills, passed away on 13th, August, 2026 at place of residence in Auburn Hills. The son of Mitchell Higdon and Ravella Rhines. He was born on August 26, 1948, in Detroit. Oscar retired from a rewarding career at BioMed Behavioral Health after 10 plus years as a Substance Abuse , Family and Grief Counselor. Hobbies included educational documentaries, martial arts film, writing, politics, and sports. He also took pride in donating to the Dakota Indian Foundation. Above all spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mitchell and Ravella and his surviving children are Minyonn Higdon, Deon Higdon, Oscar Higdon Jr. , Rachelle Torres (Miguel), and Maxxcell Higdon.

Due to Oscar's wishes, we will not be hosting a funeral service or memorial. He will be cremated.
