Leslie Ann Briggs, 80, of Rochester Hills (previously Howell, MI and Brownstown, MI), passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026. The daughter of Harry Jerome & Grace Duffy (Rosebury), she was born on November 26, 1945 in Detroit. Leslie worked as an LPN for St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor from approximately 1965-1982 where she truly enjoyed caring for infants in the nursery and as a custodian for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Riverview, MI from approximately 1994-2022. Leslie was an active member of the Riverview Ward of the LDS Church for more than 20 years. She worked with great joy, assisting the Young Women’s group, especially their summer camps, in Michigan and Florida for over 15 years. Leslie volunteered her time for the Woodhaven High School Marching Band and Drama Club when her daughters were active participants. She was an avid walker, making her way around Howell for groceries, banking and the library daily, often running errands for neighbors. Above all, Leslie was a loving mother to her 5 children and 2 stepsons. She enjoyed her role as a caregiver more than anything else and will be remembered for her caring, kind heart.
