Kathryn A. Wilson

Wilson, Kathryn Aimer 1/18/1979 – 7/21/2021. On Wednesday, July 21, 2021, Katie Wilson, loving wife and devoted mother, went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 42 after a brief illness.

Katie was born to Charlie and Joni Skowronek in Salt Lake City, UT in 1979. She grew up in Sandy, Utah. When the family relocated to Michigan in January of 1994, Katie lived in Rockford and graduated from Rockford High School in 1997. Katie then attended Grand Rapids Community College and started work for a small legal firm, which then led into her career at Spectrum Health as a valued Executive Legal Assistant.

After a brief courtship, Katie married her husband Jason Wilson in July of 2000 and the two of them moved to Comstock Park, MI. A few short years later they gave birth to their beloved daughter Megan, who has always been their pride and joy. Katie had a great passion for caring for her family. She was an amazing friend to many, always thoughtful and caring. She loved to camp, play cards, travel with her family, and was always up to grab a blanket, candy, and watch a good movie. Katie was known and will be remembered for her kindness, amazing sense of humor, infectious laugh, and beautiful smile that would light up any room.

Katie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 21 years, Jason, and her daughter Megan; her parents, Charlie and Joni Skowronek; her brother Chuck Skowronek, sister-in-law Tiffany, and their children Trinity, Isaiah, and Audrey; Grandmother, Phyllis Sweet; Father-in-law, Jeff Wilson and his wife Ann.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 44 Chicory St. NE, Comstock Park, MI 49321.
