Janet Lalonde

Janet Rose LaLonde, age 81, of Lapeer, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband at her side on October 15. 2022.

Janet Rose Davis was born April 26, 1941 in Lapeer, Michigan to Edward and Beatrice (Bryan) Davis. She was predeceased by her parents, two sons, Robin Kitchenmaster and Jeffrey Kitchenmaster, and one grandson, Scotty Kitchenmaster.

Survivors include her husband, David LaLonde I, four sons and one daughter; Gary Kitchenmaster, Scott Kitchenmaster, Mark (Debbie) Kitchenmaster, Kimberly Chovanec and David (Troy) LaLonde II, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild as well as many other extended family members.

Janet retired from Lapeer Regional Hospital after twenty plus years of service. Janet’s family meant everything to her, and her devotion as wife, mother and grandmother was unsurpassed. Janet was an avid cook and skilled cake decorator. She also enjoyed crocheting and wintering in Florida.

Per Janet’s request, cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will take place on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Lapeer from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
