Mrs. Frances Linell Slater (Joplin), age 76, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2023, after a brave battle with congestive heart failure. Beloved wife of Dennis Slater; loving mother of Susan Andreeff (Steven) and David (Katie) Salerno; stepmother of Paul Slater (Geniene) and Michelle McLaughlin (Donald); dear sister of Elaine Parrott, Beverly Galla (Robert), Samye Young (James), JoEllen MacDonald, Melody Tomlinson, Cindy Grantham (Huey), and Laura DeGroat; and dear grandmother to Jack, Peter, Molly, Collin and Conner.
A longtime resident of Rochester, Linell enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling and playing golf.
Visitation will be on May 5th at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church (620 Romeo Road, Rochester, Michigan).
