

Born on July 7, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Andrew Jacob Mom and Marion Martha Mom. Elaine lived a life centered on home, family, and faith. A devoted homemaker, she took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment for those she loved.
Elaine had a deep appreciation for nature and was passionate about natural healing and herbal remedies. Her knowledge and care for holistic living touched many lives. She also held a strong and devoted faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, which guided her throughout her life. Elaine had a special place in her heart for animals and found joy in their companionship.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Frank Rumsas; her brother, Rick Mom; her sister, Marlene Majeski; and her son, Robert Jr. Sharp.
Elaine is lovingly remembered by her children, Steve Sharp and Michele Sharp; her beloved grandchildren, Zep Graff, Devyn Sharp, Austin Fehrenbach, Robby Sharp, and Cole Fehrenbach, Daisy Gamble; and her great-grandchildren, Nora Graff, Cicilia Graff, Delylah Lewis and Weston Fehrenbach; brother, Jerry Mom; along with those who were fortunate to know her gentle spirit, wisdom, and kindness.
In accordance with her wishes, a small private memorial will be held with immediate family.
Elaine’s legacy of love, faith, and compassion will be carried on by those she leaves behind.
