

Beloved father, friend and sports fan Edward James Naszradi, 91, of Novi passed away on November 17, 2024 after a brief stay at Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield. The son of John and Elizabeth (Beres) Naszradi, he was born on June 3, 1933 in Detroit and lived his early years in Hungarian Delray. In 1990, Edward retired from Ford Motor Company after a 40-year career in finance, management and planning, which encompassed four years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard. Edward was a loving husband, devoted father, engaged grandpa, sports team enthusiast, fine dining/wine/entertainment aficionado, experienced traveler, keen analyst and diligent planner. His trademarks were his affable nature, spreadsheets and readiness to talk sports!
Edward was preceded in death by his parents and his cherished wife of 65 years Nancy who passed on September 30. Surviving are his children Kurt, Mark (Jennifer), Maureen, Richard and Patrick (Cindy), and grandchildren Erica Mate, Samantha Naszradi, David Naszradi, Giuliana Naszradi, Jack Naszradi, Veronica Johnston, Nicole Naszradi, Jake Naszradi and Elek Naszradi.
Family and friends are invited to remember Edward at a celebration he had requested including wine, a smorgasbord and live music 4-7 pm on Monday, December 2 in the Derby Room at Fox Run, 41000 W 13 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48377. The Fox Run Chaplain’s devotional message and a time of sharing will be 4:30-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Edward Naszradi to the Fox Run Student Scholarship Fund at myerickson.erickson.com.
