Dorothy was a woman who loved deeply, especially her 2 sons, Clark Barton III and Craig Barton, who preceded her in death. She missed them badly but found joy and purpose in Jesus, grandchildren, great grandchildren and loved ones.
Dorothy loved to look her best no matter what the occasion. Dorothy was always dressed up wearing her jewelry, makeup and favorite perfume, "Beautiful", by Estee Lauder. Her laughter was unforgettable, especially when she got excited with that high-pitched sound that brought joy to everyone around her. Dorothy had a feisty personality full of grit, sass, and a playful way of keeping others in check, often asking "Are you being a plotki maker?"....a phrase that will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved her.
Most precious to the family was grandma's Faith in and love for Jesus. She often spoke in awe of His love and sacrifice. She looked forward to the day she would meet Him face to face.
This past Christmas, she outwardly professed her faith by getting baptized by her grandson, Clark Barton IV, surrounded by family. It was a beautiful and unforgettable celebration of her faith.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Mitchael and Elizabeth Zerona and her sons Clark Barton III and Craig Barton. She is survived by her loving brother Mitchell Zerona (Carol Fell), grandchildren, and great grandchildren, niece and nephews.
We will miss her and hold tightly to the many beautiful memories shared with her.
