Diane Linda Brown was born on June 9, 1953, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to Bryce and Beverly Dell. She grew up alongside her brothers, David (Vicky) and Mark (Linda). As a young woman, Diane came to know and deeply love Jehovah God. She chose to dedicate her life to Him through baptism as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and her faith became a lasting source of strength, comfort, and joy throughout her life.
Diane had a warm and gentle spirit. She loved sewing and was proud to have once run her own small business, The Pin Cushion, where she put her creativity and skill to use. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and sharing her faith with others, which brought her deep fulfillment. Diane found true joy in being a stay-at-home mother, devoting herself fully to raising and caring for her children with love and patience.
She had a way of making people feel seen, loved, and encouraged, and she touched many lives with her quiet strength and kindness.
In her later years, Diane found comfort in the simple things—quiet moments at home and the loyal companionship of her beloved dog, Ginger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn, and her daughter, Rachel. Diane is lovingly remembered by her sons, Douglas (Lisa) and Paul, and her daughter Beverly. Her grandchildren—Harlee (Tyler), Michael, Erin, Mariah, Jessica, and Jacob—and her great-granddaughters, Adalynn, Flora, and Fauna, who brought her endless joy and pride.
Diane also held a special place in her heart for her dear friends, Gary and Mary Walters, whose friendship and support were a true blessing in her life.
Those who knew and loved Diane will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Her gentle nature, steady faith, and quiet strength will never be forgotten.
“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” — Revelation 21:4
