He later joined the University of Iowa data system and retired from Medlantic Health Group. He loved spending summers with his wife, Ann, at their home in Arcadia, Michigan. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he enjoyed Saturday breakfasts with his wife and son, attending U-M football games, and all things computers. He was also a skilled sailor and licensed hot air balloon pilot.
