Conrad was married to his beloved Nancy for 58 years, who died May 29th, 2019. After earning his degree at Heidelburg College where he played football and basketball Conrad retired as an insurance adjuster/manager. His love of sports remained a common theme in his life as he continued golfing and bowling into his late 80’s. Conrad was a talented stained-glass artisan and shared his love of the subject by teaching it at the Taylor Senior Center. He was a devoted member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and served as a Deacon for the church.
Conrad's passing followed the deaths of his parents Konrad and Nettie and his brother, Robert Heidt. Surviving are his siblings David Heidt and Annette Rogers, His children Timothy & Dani Heidt and Kimberly & Tom Sisk, and his grandchildren Steven Heidt, Michael and Emily Sisk, Daniel and Alexis Heidt and Zackary Sisk. His legacy lives on in the family he loved so dearly. Conrad will be profoundly missed but his light remains in all of us.
