Cheryl Davenport, age 75, of Ypsilanti, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Michigan Medicine Hospital in Ann Arbor. The daughter of James and anna Sutton, she was born on October 13th, 1948 in Pontiac. Cheryl L was a stay-at-home mom, homeschool teacher, faithful friend and was a member of Shekinah Christian Church as well as the Word of God community. Her interests included singing in choir, playing flute, gardening and going on walks with her favorite people. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse: John Davenport and her son, Samuel Davenport; Surviving are her children, Micah Davenport, Abigail Grigsby, and Daniel Torres-Davenport, and her brother Stephen Sutton. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Shekinah Church, 4600 Scio Rd., Ann Arbor MI 48103.
