Michelle was born in Millinocket, Maine on January 25, 1968, to Edgar and Violet (Beaulieu) Pelletier. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Peterson; her daughters, Rachel Bouchard and Hope Peterson; her brothers, Louis Pelletier (Lynn), Peter Pelletier, and David Pelletier (Anne); her sister, Sheila Pelletier Brooks (Brian); and twelve nieces. Michelle is pre-deceased by her parents, Edgar and Violet, and her brother, Mario Pelletier.
As a young girl, Michelle loved spending summers at the family camp on Millinocket Lake, gardening with her father, playing water sports with her nieces, and family barbeques. At age 13, Michelle relocated with her family to Calais, Maine where she graduated from Calais High School in 1986 and attended Washington County Community College, where she graduated with certifications in accounting. At the time of her passing, Michelle was an Accounting Manager for Clout Construction.
Michelle touched many lives with her kindness, generosity, laughter, and ability to find joy in the simple things life had to bring. Her happiest moments were found spending time with family, dinners out with friends, or enjoying an afternoon at the beach. She leaves behind a rich legacy in her two daughters; both who approach the world with the same optimistic and hopeful outlook.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 5, 2024, at the Suncoast Community Church Activity Center, located at 8000 Hawkins Road, Sarasota, Florida 34241. In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation (www.give.michaeljfox.org) to help fund research, as we attempt to move in a world without Parkinson’s disease.
