

Linda Jean Hoelzer (Schneider) of Riverview, Fl. passed away July 14, 2026 at the age of 69. she was born on July 10th, 1957 in Freemont, Oh to Lewis and geraldine Schneider. She grew up in Sandusky, Oh. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world surrounded by the love of those she cherished most.
She graduated from Perkins High School in 1975. she united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, David Hoelzer, on October 18th, 1975.
She was preceded in death by her son Bryan Christopher Hoelzer, Father-in-Law Paul Hoelzer, and her father Lewis Schneider.
She is survived by her mother Geraldine Schneider, devoted husband David Hoelzer, her loving children sons Jacob (Mandy) Hoelzer, Jeffrey (Beth) Hoelzer, and daughter Kelli Hoelzer(Mike Bair). She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Canon, Easton, Logan, Lucas, Kinsley, & Savannah, her siblings Mike (Sheila) Schneider and sister Kathy (Mario) Gil along with nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and a stay at home mom who took care of her 3 children. She had a gift for always making people feel welcome with a warm smile. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved them with all her heart and found happiness in every moment spent together. She celebrated life's milestones, treasured everyday moments and created countless memories that her family will hold close forever.
She also had a passion for photography and scrapbooking. Through her lens, she had captured life's most precious moments, preserving those memories that will be cherished for generations. Her scrapbooks were more than albums-they were beautiful stories of love, family and moments that mattered most. She also enjoyed spending time on the boat fishing with family or just being able to spend time on the water with her husband.
Those who knew her will remember her gentle spirit, caring heart, and selfless love. She was always there with encouragement, a listening ear, or a comforting hug. Her kindness has touched countless lives and her love will continue to live through all the family and friends she leaves behind.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Stephens Catholic Church (120118 St. Stephens Circle, Riverview, Fl 33569 on Monday August 24, 2026. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00am.
