Estaline Moore Tucker

Estaline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy was the family she loved so deeply. She was quick with a smile, never knew a stranger, and had a wonderful way of making people feel welcome and at home.

Estaline was married for 31 years to Jack S. Moore Jr., with whom she raised their two children, Tobin C. Moore and Joslyn Moore Mann. Of all the roles she held throughout her life, Estaline would proudly say that her best job was being a stay-at-home wife and mother.

Her home was always open, and her generosity extended well beyond her immediate family. Once you entered Estaline’s life, there was a good chance you became family.

As her children grew older, Estaline began working for Carolina Mortgage Company as a loan processor. It was there that she met Mary Ann Layman, who became one of her very best and lifelong friends.

Later in life, Estaline married Ken Tucker, with whom she shared another chapter of her life before his passing.

Estaline loved to travel, stay on the go, and was always ready for the next adventure. She loved playing card games, spending time with family and friends, laughing, visiting, and simply enjoying life.

But perhaps nothing brought Estaline more happiness than her family, especially her five grandchildren. To them, she was simply and lovingly “Gammy,” a name that became one of the most treasured she carried.

Estaline is survived by her children, Tobin C. Moore and Joslyn Moore Mann, and their spouses, Susan Moore and Tracy Mann; her five grandchildren, Sydney Moore, Maddie Moore, Tyler Mann, Jordan Mann, and Josie Mann; her sister, Ginger Schindler; her brother, George Wolstenholme; and the extended family and many friends whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack S. Moore Jr. and Ken Tucker, and her sister, Mickey Newell.

Estaline will be remembered for her welcoming heart, her sense of adventure, her devotion to her family, her quick smile, and her ability to make friends wherever she went. She leaves behind not simply a lifetime of memories, but a family made larger by the many people she chose to love as her own.

A Celebration of Life honoring Estaline will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park Funeral Home & Crematory, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, Florida 33578, where she will be laid to rest.

Her family invites those who knew and loved Estaline to join them in remembering and celebrating a woman who lived with an open heart, welcomed others with an easy smile, and was always ready for one more adventure.
