Brenda Ann Rosala

Brenda graduated from Valley Forge High School and worked for the Strongsville City Schools. Brenda was known for her strong work ethic, dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. No matter the job, Brenda gave it her all.

Brenda had a wide array of hobbies, from gardening, hiking, fishing, shooting, and archery to reading, painting, sewing, golfing, and bowling. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and enthusiastically said yes to whatever adventure was proposed. Whether zip-lining through the trees with her friends, jumping off bridges into rivers with her kids, driving across the country with her husband, or going to Europe with her siblings, she was always available for fun. She loved to eat but disliked cooking and always had a craving for her husband’s chicken cordon bleu.

Brenda was full of energy and joy and never met a stranger. Her kindness drew people in, and she had room in her heart for everyone. She sang poorly, danced goofily, and laughed loudly. She was humble, artistic, and smart and was the person to go to for comfort, advice, or help researching any topic.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Craig; her son, Daniel "Ryan" Bolles; her daughter, Lindsey Bolles (married to Alex Trumbull); her siblings, Rebecca, Deborah, James, and Laura; and beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nephews, with whom she shared a very close bond. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Rita Geier.

Visitation will be held at National Cremation and Burial Society (308 East College Ave., Ruskin, FL 33570) on Thursday, October 1, from 12:00 until 3:00. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (4450 County Rd. 579, Seffner, FL 33584) on Friday, October 2, at 10:00. Brenda's family and friends are invited to attend both events. In addition to family and friends, Brenda loved birds, squirrels, rainbows, pinwheels, and—especially—colorful flowers. The family welcomes flowers sent to the funeral home in her memory.
