Arturo "Art" Ramos

Arturo Ramos, 58, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Art was born on March 23, 1968 in Kokomo, Indiana and he grew up in Homestead, Florida. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology in 1997 and he worked at Tomatoes of Ruskin as a Food Safety Manager.

Art was a devoted husband to Karyn for 31 years, a proud father to his daughter Bella and a loving son to his mother Ana. He is survived by his brothers Miguel and Octavio and his sisters Beatrice and Laura and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sisters Marisol and Luisa and his father Abel.

Art’s greatest pride was his family. He will be remembered for his gentle heart, kind spirit and endless support for those he loved. He was always there for his family when they needed help and guidance. His home was the meeting place for many gatherings, and he cherished spending time with family and friends. His love and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A service to celebrate Art’s life will be held on June 5th from 3 to 5pm at National Cremation & Burial Society at 308 East College Ave, Ruskin, FL 33570. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects.
