Eunice attended New York City Public schools, attended Church where her parents were founding members and where she developed the Christian principles and personal relationship with God as instilled in her and her siblings from her parents. She worked the majority of her employed years, and retired from the NYC Housing Authority as a data processor/key punch operator.
Eunice was very active in her church where she sang in the choir as a youth and later in her adult years served with her mother in the missionary department and moved on to lead the Sunday School Department. Not only was she active in teaching but providing the drama presentations and childrens programs for Christmas and Easter, the annual church outing, vacation bible school and teacher education.
In the early 70’s Eunice and her dear friend, Alma, were introduced to General Development, and subsequently Palm Bay and fell in love with it . This is where they wanted to retire. For 20 yrs they came down for vacations until they retired and moved down in 1994 at the tail end of one of the worst snowfalls that shut NYC down and have been full time residents for the past 30 yrs. She became active with AARP- advocating and socializing, found her new church home at Calvary Chapel Ministries and participated in her HOA activities, did mall walking and often found pulling weeds and planting flowers at her home.
These latter months have brought about many changes in her life, but as Eunice neared her
102nd birthday she continued to enjoy Palm Bay and sitting out on her sun filled lanai.
Eunice Scott departed this life on August 12, 2025.
